Who are we?

Hey, friends!

Firstly, I’d like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for being here. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that over 900 people across the globe have subscribed to ‘Confessions Of A Lost Girl’. Knowing that my anecdotes have reached a willing audience is every writer’s dream; thank you for making mine come true.

Secondly, I’d like to ask for your input.

When I started this newsletter, I wasn’t sure exactly which way to steer it. I just have a lot to say, so have been sharing scattergun slivers of my mind, for your entertainment.

I’ve concluded that my ‘appeal’ (gag) on social media is down to having been an actress, based on the ‘do you still talk to Peter Pan’ and ‘hiiii Wendy!!!!’ messages that still flood my DM’s on Instagram. While I’m happy and willing to share about my experiences relating to acting, it’s kind of a finite resource for material, given that I’m not really an actress any more…

I’ve been unsure where to pitch myself, both here and frankly, in life. I’m still finding myself after becoming a mother.

I’m a former child / adult (not like that) actress. I’m a current children’s book author (first project getting published very soon!) I get hyped by creativity, ideas, storytelling. I’m also a qualified Pilates teacher, keen on wellness – as long as I don’t have to be earnest about it.

But if I’ve realised one thing, it’s that what I’m into isn’t as important as what you’re into.

Because this is your newsletter. I want to build a virtual hang-out where you can meet like-minded folk (or at least, folk with similar interests). I’d love to offer Live’s, where we get together and chat about the topics that are on your mind. Maybe even courses, tutorials, one-to-one coaching for your creative writing or acting pursuits.  I’d love to put my experiences, good and bad, to use – to help you.

If nothing else, I want the posts that arrive in your inbox to be things you’re excited to delve into.
