How do you creatively unwind? Cooking, music, poetry, journaling, sewing, swimming, etc? I know family takes up a fair portion of time but when it's just you, how do you utilize your creativity in a cathartic way? Curious what that looks like.

Hi Rachel,

I saw Perfume many years ago, and my main memories from then are your Hide & Seek scene in the maze, and the astonishing ending of the movie. Watching it again on Bluray brought back lots of other memories. I especially enjoyed your closeup scenes with Alan Rickman.

You said you were fortunate enough to be cast as flame-haired aristocrat Laura Richis, but in the "Story of Perfume" extra on the Bluray, the director said Laura was "so undoubtedly beautiful that everybody is completely entranced and fall in love with her at first glance .... and then you run into Rachel Hurd-Wood, and what can you do, there she is!" So I think he was the fortunate one, as well as everyone who saw the movie.

I searched for other references to Perfume from back when it was released, and the pictures from the premier of "Das Parfum" in Germany were great. There's a wonderful solo picture of you holding stems of white flowers, which I guess is a reference to Laura holding them in several scenes in the movie.

Looking forward to reading about your adventures in future newsletters. Thank you! Ben.

Your favor movies, actors, directors, anime, books, animals. Movie and book reviews. Maybe take recommendations from your followers what to watch and read and give feedbacks. Also share your children psychology knowledge. Those can be very helpful to others.
